Helping You Reach Your Full Potential
NDIS funded occupational therapy in Far North Queensland
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy supports individuals and families to do the things that bring meaning, purpose, and value to life.
An “occupation” is more than a job! It’s any activity that matters in your life. Including what you...
-
Need to do - eating, sleeping, dressing, bathing
-
Want to do – making friends, learning, and activities for fun
-
Are expected to do – work, looking after your room or home, managing your money well, or managing medication
As an organisation focusing on adults with developmental, learning, and psychosocial disabilities, we want you to do as much as you can for yourself. This might be catching buses or taxis, getting a job, preparing something to eat meal prep, or improving strategies within teaching your circle of support how best to support you - your way.
